The Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila stated in Parliament today that steps have been taken to provide sufficient diesel to generate power for the next 6 days.
Accordingly, measures have been taken to provide 6000 metric tons of fuel to the Ceylon Electricity Board and 4200 metric tons of fuel to the Sojitz power plant, he said while answering a question raised by the Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa in Parliament.
