The Hong Kong government has issued a decree mandating a corona test for all people living in Hong Kong.
Carrie Lam, Hong Kong’s chief executive, has said that more than 75 million people in Hong Kong will have to undergo three corona tests from the end of March.
The chief executive said the decision was made as reports of coronavirus infections in Hong Kong continued to rise.
According to the Hong Kong CEO, all citizens will be subjected to three PCR tests. Each PCR test will be performed at one-week intervals.
“With a population of only about seven million, the first round of testing will be possible to complete within a week.” She has stated.
Hong Kong, which is a special administrative region of China, is trying to maintain a corona-free zone similar to China.
However, only China is currently trying to live without corona patients. It is also noteworthy that the coronavirus is now considered a normal virus and the lifestyle is being continued in most European countries.
