    NASA plans to retire ISS

NASA has decided to crash the International Space Station into the Pacific Ocean after 2030.

Accordingly, NASA plans to retire the International Space Station after 2030, which is still in operation.

The International Space Station is currently scheduled to crash into Point Nemo in the Pacific Ocean.

According to NASA, more space will be given to the private sector for space missions in the future.

“Today, the private sector has the technical and financial capacity to build space stations in orbit around the Earth. It is also possible to provide the necessary assistance by NASA. We look forward to sharing our knowledge with the private sector,” said Phil McAllister, NASA’s Director of Commercial Space.

The area where the International Space Station is planned to collapse is unique. Point Nemo, located in the Pacific Ocean, is one of the farthest places in the world from human habitation. The nearest land is about 2000 miles away.

Due to its remoteness from human habitation, the area is widely used to land space debris on Earth.

Currently, countries engaged in space missions since 1971 have dropped more than 263 pieces of space debris into the area.

The International Space Station is a space station located in Earth orbit. This space center can be seen with the naked eye from Earth. It is approximately 408 kilometers (253 miles) above the Earth’s surface and travels at an average speed of 27,580 kilometers per hour, completing 15.49 orbits per day.
