Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera has also been infected with the covid virus.
This has been confirmed by the Covid identification test conducted by the Minister in this regard after appearing covid symptoms.
Many ministers and parliamentarians have been infected with the Covid virus in recent days. So far there have been Covid infected 47 MPs and ministers representing the parliament.
