The German government plans to repatriate more than 700,000 foreign workers a year.
Accordingly, Germany’s government alliance member, Free Democratic Party’s group leader Christian Lindner has said he hopes to bring in qualified young people to meet Germany’s acute labor shortage.
Christian pointed out that the lack of qualified workers is currently a major challenge facing the German economy, and that a shortage of workers has also slowed economic growth.
“We can only stop the impact of the aging population on Germany’s labor force by controlling immigration laws. Accordingly, we still need at least 700,000 skilled workers. ” Christian has stated.
Germany’s labor force has been declining sharply over the past decade due to low birth rates, and the country’s economy is facing a major challenge as the number of retirees rises.
