Cabinet approval has been granted to construct four new flyovers based on the financial cooperation between the Government of Hungary and the Government of Sri Lanka.
One flyover is planned to cover the Muththettugala Railway Crossing and Hiripitya Junction, while the other bridges are planned to cover Pasyala Junction, Negombo Maristella Junction and Thalawathugoda Junction.
According to the Cabinet Secretariat, the flyovers at Kohuwala and Galambe are currently under construction based on the Financial Cooperation between Sri Lanka and the Government of Hungary to provide Concessional Financial Facilities through the Exim Bank of Hungary.
