A special discussion between President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Association will be held in Colombo tomorrow afternoon.
A meeting between the President and the Engineers ‘Association will be held at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo tomorrow at around 2 pm, a spokesman for the Engineers’ Association said.
He also said that the Engineers’ Union would present its case to the President against the sale of shares in the Yugadanavi power plant to an American company.
The CEB Engineers’ Union last week launched a trade union action against the sale of shares in the Yugadanavi power plant, which was suspended from last Friday due to a promise to hold talks with the President.
