    What will happen today in Parliament?

    Parliament is scheduled to convene today (21) at 10.00 am to discuss the mining of oil deposits in the Mannar Basin, the importation of chemical fertilizers, warrants for non-arrests and other orders under six Acts.

    Today from 10.00 am to Till 11.00 am, time has been allotted for the questions which are expected to be answered orally by the Members of Parliament.

    The following Acts and Regulations are to be debated and approved from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm.

    1. Notice under the Excise Ordinance
    2. 05 Regulations under the Ports and Airports Development Tax Act
    3. 06 Regulations under the Special Commodity Levy Act
    4. A trio of orders under the Foreign Exchange Act
    5. A provision under the Foreign Exchange Act
    6. Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act

    Thereafter the House will be adjourned from 4.30 pm to 4.50 pm.

    According to the motion brought by the ruling party, the debate will be held after the adjournment from 4.50 pm to 5.30 pm.
