Additional Medical Officer of Health Dr. Wasantha Jayasuriya, who was working at the Anamaduwa Medical Officer of Health’s office, has died of the Covid 19 virus.
He had been receiving treatment for the Covid 19 virus at the Covid treatment unit in Angoda for several days.
Mr. Jayasuriya, a father of two, is a resident of Kadawatha.
