The number of children who were under treatment for Covid-19 at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) has decreased to 95 by now, its director G. Wijesuriya said.
He said around 200 children were under treatment at the Hospital a week ago.
He said this was a good sign and that he believed that this decline may be due to lockdown and the vaccination program.
The Director also said that about 30 to 40 children were admitted to the hospital daily earlier.
