Minister of State for Covid Control administration Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle says that it is her personal opinion that the country should be closed for another week or two to control the Covid epidemic.
She points out that even if the country is closed, it will take another month for the death toll to fall.
The Minister of State stated that the people can be protected from Covid disease by always following self-discipline and adhering to health practices.
