Sri Lankan Kabaddi player has been bought at PKL 2021 for the first time in History

For the first time, a Sri Lankan kabaddi player has been sold at the PKL-2021 auction. It was Anwar Saheed Baba, a Kabaddi player in the Sri Lanka Navy.

He has sold over 2.7 million at the Indian Pro-Kabaddi Championships.

This is the first time in the SL history of Kabaddi that a Sri Lankan has been bought at a Kabaddi League auction. Kabaddi is very similar to Chaggudu or Gudu, one of the oldest traditional sports in Sri Lanka.

The tournament will take place next December.

This year 22 foreign players will join the Pro-Kabaddi League.

Here is the list of foreign players sold at the Pro Kabaddi Auction. (Indicated in Indian Rupees.)
