Female elephant ‘Surangi’ has given birth to twin baby elephants in Pinnawala, recording the birth of the first semi-domestic twin elephant in the history of Sri Lanka.
The first baby elephant was born at 4 am and the second baby at 10 am, according to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
