Popular singer Umaria Sinhawansa, who was arrested in connection with a car accident and produced before court, was released on bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today.
The court has also taken steps to suspend her driver’s license for a short period.
The accident took place near the Welikada flyover last evening. The driver of the three-wheeler that collided with the car driven by Umaria is still receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
