A gazette notification has been issued by making it compulsory to display the weight in kilograms for LPG gas cylinders, selling in the market.
The gazette notification has been issued announcing a maximum retail price for 18 Liters (9.8kg) gas cylinder for each district.
Accordingly, such a gas cylinder should be sold at a maximum retail price of Rs. 1,150 in Colombo.
These prices are in effect from today (25th).
