The Sri Lankan Army will be deployed alongside the police to ensure the safety of devotees attending the Sacred Exposition of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (Sri Dalada Dākma).
Under the guidance of the Army Commander, all army units under the Central Security Forces Command will be assigned to this duty.
The exposition is scheduled to take place from April 18 to 27.
