The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mrs. Julie Chung and the US State Department have issued announcements expressing their support for the government of the new President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to the announcement issued by the US State Department, it supports the building of a stable, prosperous and harmonious society.
Meanwhile, Ms. Julie Chung, who sent a message on Twitter, congratulated the new President and stated that America is ready to work together with Sri Lanka.
