Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, says that the hypocritical people who say that the implementation of Sakwala and Bhasha programs is wrong and that it is not the responsibility of the politicians to distribute, do not know about the needs of the schools.
He mentioned that the cardboard socialists who roam around the world looking for crores and crores of money for their party’s fund do not use even a small part of that money to improve the country’s education.
He said that the big alternative leaders of this bankrupt country walk around the world to collect money and use it to build their and the party’s image and they have no desire to end people’s suffering or develop the country.
Therefore, the people of this country should understand that what the country needs are practical development programs and not scandalous political shows and the Samagi Jana Balawega is still fulfilling that duty for the people without having any power, the opposition leader added.
Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said this while participating in the donation of a smart classroom worth 1,177,000 rupees under the 213th phase of the Sakwala smart classroom program to Kudagoda Junior College, Mulkirigala, Katuwana, Hambantota. He also donated an amount of one lakh rupees to the School Development Fund to rectify the shortcomings of the school.
