A meeting between the spiritual leader of the Bora community, Dr. His Excellency Seyyadina Mufaddal Seifuddin Saheb, and President Ranil Wickramasinghe took place yesterday (03) afternoon at the President’s official residence on Paget Road.
The over one million Bora community members are spread over 40 countries including India, Pakistan, USA, UK, Canada, Sri Lanka and Australia.
Dr. Seiyadina Mufaddal Seifuddin, who engaged in a friendly conversation with President Ranil Wickremesinghe, appreciated the program implemented by the President to build the economy of Sri Lanka.
Also, the President’s attention was drawn to the holding of the Bora Conference this year, which is held in connection with the Bambalapitiya Bora Church.
A book containing various programs including religious services performed by the Bora community over the past 04 years was also presented to President Ranil Wickramasinghe.
A delegation including leaders of the Bora community attended the event.
