Basil Rajapaksa, the Minister of Finance has been sworn in as a Member of Parliament before the Speaker some time ago.
He was sworn in as a National List Member of Parliament for the Sri Lanka People’s Front.
This is to fill the vacancy left by Jayantha Ketagoda who resigned from the post.
