Litro Gas Lanka Company has decided not to revise the price of domestic LP gas cylinders in February.
Mr. Muditha Peiris, president of Litro, said that this decision was taken in consideration of the financial difficulties faced by the people.
The prices of domestic gas cylinders should be increased along with the increase in international market prices.
But Mr. Peiris said that the company decided to bear most of the loss caused by not revising the rates.
After the price hike announced in January, Litro gas prices continue to remain at below prices.
12.5kg cylinder – Rs. 4,250
5kg cylinder – Rs. 1,707
2.3 kg cylinder – Rs. 795
