The Department of Examinations has issued a notice regarding the call for applications to appear for the GCE O/L (2023/2024) examination.
Accordingly, the announcement further states that the call for applications will be made from January 23 to February 15 only online.

Meanwhile, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha says that a program with practical training and theoretical rehearsal on vocational education with knowledge of information technology and English language will be provided to school students who are completing their Advanced Level this year.
The minister said in a program held at the Ministry of Education regarding the special career guidance program that the program will be started from February.
This vocational training program is implemented in 299 selected schools in the island with the aim of directing students who complete their A/L education to vocational education.
Also, the students appearing for the GCE A/L examination this year can register for this program before the 9th of next month.
