The price of a 50 kg bag of cement has been increased by 150-350 rupees.
The cement manufacturing companies said that this step was taken along with the increase in goods and services tax.
Accordingly, some companies have raised the price of a cement bag up to Rs. 2300.
Another company has raised the price of a bag of cement to Rs. 2450.
Before the increase in taxes, the price of a bag of cement was between 1980 and 2300 rupees.
