The Acting General Manager has issued a circular cancelling the leaves of Ceylon Electricity Board employees.
It is said that it will be operational until further notice.
Members of the Ceylon Electricity Workers’ Union across the country have organized a protest today and tomorrow in Colombo.
It is reported that even now they are coming to Colombo to hold the protest.
