Taxes related to telecommunication services will be increased from January 01, 2024.
This is in line with the increase in VAT announced by the government.
Thus, Dialog has announced that the total tax value for local calls/SMS, additional services and PayTV services is 42.02%.
The total tax charged on data, Wi-Fi services and IDD calls is 23.50%.
The companies also say that the price of prepaid data cards with reduced data quota will remain the same including taxes.
