Rex Kodippili, a veteran actor in the Sinhala cinema and television industry, passed away today (24).
He was 85 years old when he passed away.
Mr. Rex Kodippili is most popular for playing villainous characters in Sinhala cinema.
Mr. Rex Kodippili, who joined the cinema by acting in the movie ‘Kathuru Muwath’, has acted in nearly 150 movies including ‘Lokuma Sinawa’, ‘Maruwa Samaga Wase’, ‘Sihasuna’, ‘Diyamanthi’, ‘Muwan Palassa’, ‘Raktha’, ‘Chandira’, ‘Baisikale’, ‘Koti Waligaya’, ‘Christhu Charithaya’, ‘Ahimi Dadaman’, ‘Oneshot One’, ‘Doctor Nawariyan’.
After producing the movie ‘Baisikalaya’, he acted in the tele-drama ‘Rankahawanu’ and joined the tele-drama acting.
