Mr. Vadivel Suresh, Member of Parliament, has been appointed as a Senior Advisor to the President with immediate effect.
In his new position, he has a responsibility to oversee the full integration of the Upcountry Tamils into Sri Lankan society.
Also, among the responsibilities assigned to him is to investigate the existing problems in Nuwara Eliya, Badulla and Ratnapura districts.
