The Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development Mr. Jeevan Thondaman says that the final draft of the proposed water tariff formula is expected to be prepared and finalized in December.
He said that it will provide water supply to charitable institutions, hospitals and schools at reasonable rates.
Mr. Jeevan Thondaman also mentioned that he has planned to meet with Minister of State for Investment Promotion Dilum Amunugama and Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe to discuss how the water tariff formula affects commercial establishments.
