Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe rejects the announcement issued by the Presidential Media Division that the Cabinet has decided that the appointment of an interim committee of the Cricket Institute must be approved by the Cabinet.
He points out that the press release must be corrected.
The minister emphasized that in yesterday’s cabinet meeting, there was no discussion on the appointment of interim committees.
He also says that there was no discussion in the cabinet that the cabinet should give guidance.
The minister said this while issuing a special note.
