Two people who were traveling in a luxury car near a state bank located at DR Wijewardana Mawatha in Colombo were stopped and kidnapped today at around 12.30 pm.
An old man and a young man were traveling in the car.
It is said that the abduction was carried out by a group came from a three-wheeler, and when the young man struggled to escape from them, two shots were fired.
It has been found in the investigation that the two people who were travelling in the car were abducted and put in the three-wheeler. The car is currently at the scene and police are investigating.
