Kalashoori, Vishvakala Keerthi, Mrs. Rajini Selvanayagam, who was the greatest living dance teacher in this country, has passed away.
She passed away last night (20) after a long illness.
Mrs. Rajini Selvanayagam, who was a resident of Rajagiriya, Kalapaluwa, was 71 years old at the time of her death.
She was not only locally but also internationally known as the ‘Dancing Queen’.
Also, she was honored with the ‘Kala Keerthi’ and ‘Vishvakala Keerthi’ awards.
The last rites of Mrs. Rajini Selvanayagam will be announced later.
