According to the Minister of State for Local Medicine, Mr. Sisira Jayakodi, the proposal to obtain the necessary approval to cultivate ‘Kansa’ has been submitted to the Cabinet.
He said that ‘Kansa’ cultivation will be started in this country as an export industry as soon as the necessary approval is given to implement the proposal.
The state minister also expressed confidence that the country that exports hemp can earn a lot of foreign exchange.
