Trade union representatives handed over a detailed report on the proposed new employment bill, which aims to abolish 13 labor ordinances related to employer-employee relations, to Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
The report was presented at the Parliament premises after extensive discussions with key stakeholders, including the Labor Commissioner General, Sri Lanka Law Society, Sri Lanka Employers Federation, and representatives of 17 labor federations.
