    Sri Lankan Air Force and Sri Lankan Airlines Sign MoU for Aviation Cooperation

    In a significant move to enhance aviation expertise in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Air Force and Sri Lankan Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Air Force Headquarters. The agreement was formalized between Air Chief Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and Sri Lankan Airlines Chairman Ashoka Pathirage.

    This MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between the Sri Lankan Air Force and Sri Lankan Airlines in various aviation-related areas. The key focus areas include aviation training, education in aviation services, and overall enhancement and fortification of aviation services. The agreement also outlines provisions for mutual training programs in areas of shared interest between the two entities.

    The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, the Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lankan Airlines, the General Manager of the Sri Lankan Aviation College, as well as members of the Board of Directors from both organizations. This collaboration signifies a significant step toward advancing the aviation sector in Sri Lanka through strategic cooperation and shared expertise.
