The Ministry of Electricity and Energy has announced that the revision of fuel prices, as per the price formula, will be implemented from midnight tomorrow (02). Typically, fuel prices are adjusted on the first day of every month; however, this month, the revision was delayed due to Sunday, with the changes taking effect from the next day.
Last month, there was a significant increase in fuel prices according to the price formula.
Additionally, Sinopec has decided to increase fuel prices, effective from 6:00 pm today (01).
Super Diesel, previously priced at Rs. 356 per litre, has been raised to Rs. 417, reflecting an increase of Rs. 61. Other fuel price adjustments include 95 octane petrol, which was priced at Rs. 414, and now stands at Rs. 420 per litre. Auto diesel has increased by Rs. 10, reaching Rs. 348 per litre. The price of Octane 92 petrol remains unchanged.
