Minister of Education, Susil Premajayantha, has confirmed that due to the postponement of the GCE A/L (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) examinations, the GCE O/L (General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level) 2023 Examination will also experience a delay.
The Minister stated, “Yes, the O/L exams will definitely be postponed by about one and a half months. The Commissioner of Examinations will officially announce next week when exactly the A/L examinations will be held.” He made this announcement while participating in the initiation of the distribution of school textbooks for the year 2024.
