A man who sexually assaulted his unlawful wife’s daughter was admitted to Ratnapura Hospital yesterday after swallowing two shrinking safety pins (‘Yathurukatu’) at the Pothupitiya Police Station.
He has thus swallowed two safety pins while the complaint regarding the sexual assault was being investigated at the police station.
A 15-year-old daughter was molested by this person. Police say that the suspect has been admitted to Ratnapura Hospital.
