Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, says that he will definitely contest the next presidential election.
The opposition leader said that it is doubtful that some people are spreading false propaganda that he will not run for the upcoming presidential election because his life is threatened.
The opposition leader mentioned this while meeting today (03) to repair the southern canal in the Kirindi Oya movement.
The leader of the opposition also said:
“Since recently, a group of government representatives have been implementing Goebbels’ media policy and pretending that if Ranil contests for the presidency, Sajith will not contest in it.
These are the people who made agreements and conspired with Gotabaya Rajapaksa to defeat me when I applied for the presidential election.
I have to say only this. I will definitely run for the presidential election.
There is no doubt about it. I have to be alive to run for the presidential election. I wonder if Sajith is not contesting a metaphorical question about Sajith Premadasa’s life.”
