The number of people who have registered with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and left for foreign jobs has exceeded two lakh.
By six o’clock this afternoon, the number of people who registered with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and left for foreign jobs was reported as 200,026.
Last year was reported to be the year when the largest number of people left for foreign jobs in history, and it’s above 311,000.
It is expected that the number of people leaving for foreign jobs will exceed three lakh this year.
