Government schools in Kandy city limits have been decided to be closed for 03 days from tomorrow (28).
That is considering the heavy traffic in the city with the Esala Perahera festival.
The schools will reopen on the 1st of September.
Central Province Governor Mr. Lalith U. Gamage said that the school authorities have been instructed to hold schools for three days on Saturday and Sunday instead of these school holidays.
Education and our Childrens lives is always last in the Govts list of priorities.
