The Water Supply Board says that some regional water supply centers of the Water Supply Board will distribute water to consumers according to a specific schedule due to the lack of sufficient water due to the prevailing dry weather.
Mrs. Anoja Kaluarachchi, Planning Director of the Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that water distribution from the Tangalle Regional Water Center is currently being done according to the schedule.
Accordingly, she mentioned that the distribution of water in the regional water centers of Nikaveratiya, Hettipola, Kandy Pussellawa and Gampolawatta will also be done according to the schedules.
In addition, she said that water will be distributed in some areas using water bowsers.
