The Matugama police have started an investigation to arrest a gang who broke into a house in Bopitiya, Matugama, posing as police officers and stole gold worth 09 lakh rupees.
The robbery was carried out by a gang of three under the guise of searching the house.
The owner of the house has complained to the police that the gang has come in civilian clothes.
