A fire has broken out in a tea factory which is said to belong to the family of Wildlife and Forest Conservation Minister Pavitra Devi Vanniarachchi.
3 container cars parked there also caught fire and the Ratnapura Police has started an investigation regarding the fire.
The fire broke out yesterday in the Springwich Tea Factory located in the Welimaluwa area.
The police say that the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
The police say that both vehicles have been destroyed by fire.
