Like other companies and institutions in the country, employees of SriLankan Airlines tend to seek employment abroad due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
However, SriLankan Airlines points out that it has absolutely nothing to do with the voluntary retirement scheme being promoted by the media.
Also, in the last two years, SriLankan Airlines has not introduced a voluntary retirement scheme for employees at any time.
SriLankan Airlines says that they have a staff that performs their duties with a sense of teamwork and dedication.
They have made various sacrifices in order to run the company’s operations smoothly and efficiently, and the company points out that their constant contribution is immense.
Also, SriLankan Airlines has taken many steps in the past to retain talented employees in the company by increasing the turnover.
Furthermore, the company has also worked to provide the necessary training and support to the staff in order to minimize the impact on the company’s activities due to short-term shortages of human resources.
