The Negombo Assistant Superintendent of Police has taken steps to suspend a police constable who displayed her private parts while wearing the police uniform during a video phone conversation.
A senior police officer said that the constable was attached to the Millaniya police station when she made a video call at the women’s barracks and displayed her private parts on or around August 12, 2022.
Someone who recorded that video call started sharing it on Facebook and WhatsApp on or around last July 6.
This officer is currently working at the Negombo Police Station.
Therefore, the Negombo Assistant Superintendent of Police, who conducted an investigation regarding the video, has taken steps to suspend the officer who showed her private parts in official uniform.
