The Welfare Benefits Board said that the time given to the Divisional Secretaries to update the appeals and objections receicved for ‘Aswasuma’ ends today (13).
Mr. Kamal Padmasiri, Board Member of the Welfare Benefits Board, said that 968,000 appeals and 17,500 objections have been received.
He also mentioned that if the relevant appeals and objections are still with the divisional secretaries, they should be forwarded to the expedited system.
The deadline for filing appeals regarding the relief program ended on the 10th.
