Mr. Rohitha Bogollagama is appointed as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom.
It is in force with effect from 01 August 2023.
He studied at Ananda College, Colombo and is a lawyer by profession.
He worked as a political activist as a member of the UNP Student Front in 1972.
He entered national politics as a Kurunegala district UNP candidate in the 1989 parliamentary election and held many ministerial positions.
He also served as the Eastern Governor during 2017-2018.
