The “Mihindu Poson Perahera,” organized by the Primary Section of Mahinda College, Galle, will take place on the morning of June 15.
The Perahera has been organized by the staff of the college’s Primary Section, on the instructions of Primary Section Head Assistant Principal Saliya Krishantha and under the supervision of Principal Athula Wijewardena.
The Perahera will also include both Udarata and Pahatharata dance items. This year’s Perahera will commence from the college and will proceed to Alapalawa Junction and along Wakwella Road to Minuwangoda Junction. It will thereafter proceed back to the college via Elliot Road.
The “Mihindu Api 2003” Group has organized a Dansala distributing cool drinks for students taking part in the Perahera.
