An injured person was admitted to the Avissawella hospital yesterday evening after being shot by a motorcyclist near the statue of God Saman in Thalduwa town.
A 42-year-old man named Avantha Iroshan, a resident of Thalduwa Railway Station Road was shot this way.
The Avissawella Police state that the reason for the shooting has not yet been revealed.
