The Bandarawela Police have arrested five students who are going to face the GCE O/L Examination this year.
These students have been arrested in relation to two videos circulating on social media regarding a clash between them when they came to attend a seminar conducted by the teachers of the tuition classes.
The police say these students are studying in two main schools in Bandarawela.
One of the videos circulating on social media shows an attempt where one student carries a knife and attacks another student on the railway track. A student who was with them also recorded the conflict. He had added it to Facebook.
Three students have been arrested in connection with this clash. The police say that more people are going to be arrested.
According to the second video circulating on social media, two students have been arrested. The police say that several more students are to be arrested.
